Annalisa Rosso & David Pasquali

A short conversation with Annalisa Rosso, chief editor of Icon Design Magazine published by Mondadori group and David Pasquali, creative director and Leftloft partner.

Eight short questions about the magazine, its role, purpose, design and visual language.

The new ICON Design is out: optimistic, contemporary and open-minded

Icon Design, Mondadori's monthly magazine telling the world of design, architecture and furniture through the point of view of its protagonists, is out with a new issue completely redesigned by Leftloft, the Milanese creative agency active from over 20 years in the field of image and communication.

The editor-in-chief Annalisa Rosso and the editor-at-Large Maria Cristina Didero entrusted Leftloft to redesign and art direct the magazine.

With the April/May issue begun this collaboration on paper, a launch scheduled on the opening of the Milan Salone del Mobile, rescheduled after the news of its shifting.

The new ICON DESIGN aims to be a tool both for the community of enthusiasts and a reference for the industry, able to tell unexpected projects as well as established realities through its form and content.

Keeping a broad look on everything that happens around the world of design, the editorial project features multiple inspirations without imposing a specific style and giving space to everyone.

Not an independent magazine, but a publication able to bring out the diverse souls of the people working on it by mixing languages, areas, panoramas and protagonists and opening a dialogue between companies, designers and the public.
