Ri-Vista. L'arte contemporanea nei libri.
November 19th 2021 - Triennale Design Museum - BOOKCITY
Ri-Vista. Contemporary art in books. - (Italian only)
A talk on contemporary art and books production. A conversation about the nature, the role and the transformation of books in contemporary art with Carolyn Christov Bakargiev, director of Castello di Rivoli Museo d'Arte Contemporanea; Edoardo Bonaspetti, co-founder of the publishing house Lenz; Bruno Genovese, co-founder of Leftloft; and Damiano Gullì, Head Curator of the Public Program at Triennale Milano.
"Where does art end when the exhibition closes?" That is the question that the brand and communication design studio asked its guests to start a conversation on the role of the artbook. A witness, an extension of the exhibition, a guardian, an authoritative source on which land, or a necessary tool for starting over.
