Artefiera Bologna 2025
A vibrant, pop-inspired restyling marks the 48th edition
Artefiera, the oldest and most significant art fair in Italy, enters its 48th edition with a vibrant, pop-inspired restyling. Following its milestone 50th anniversary in 2024, the event reaffirms its role as a key reference point for exploring the art scene—from the great masters of the twentieth century to emerging or recently rediscovered artists, both nationally and internationally.
The new visual enhances the fair’s drive toward the future, and its role as a privileged space for exploring the art scene, from the twentieth-century past to the search for emerging or recently rediscovered artists, both nationally and internationally.
For this edition, we developed a refreshed visual identity, rather than a complete redesign. Two key elements were preserved: the logo and typography, which we reimagined with added depth and physicality, transforming into a simplified yet bold 3D form. This volumetric element was also introduced as a tangible presence within the fair itself enhancing the overall spatial experience.
To add further novelty and freshness, a new color palette was selected to define the various areas of the exhibition space. Additionally, the use of 'scripts'—handwritten messages—was reintroduced, offering an informal and inclusive way to welcome visitors, making the experience even more engaging.
The project, developed by the Leftloft team in collaboration with Giulio Ferrarella of Al Mare Studio, reflects the fair's desire to explore new territories, representing the fascinating and multifaceted world of Italian art with an increasing focus on new generations and emerging trends.
